I am currently working on my Master's Thesis, but I procrastinate by reading all the books I can! In the meantime, I have a good job with fun people.

Wicked

Wicked
By Gregory Maguire

Not as good as I expected. And too revisionist, too fast of a change. Interesting and I do still want to see the musical.

Nineteen Minutes

Nineteen Minutes
By Jodi Picoult
19 hours (book on CD)

Interesting story, interesting way to tell the story. Definitely kept my attention. Not sure why the 'battered woman' thing wasn't used at the second trial though.

Born in Ice

Born in Ice
By Nora Roberts

Good characters, I like how the overall trilogy plots are moving along- like the relationships with their mother and the half-sister thing. I would have liked to hear more about the other guests of the inn, the few glimpses we had were amusing.

Glad it's the first of a trilogy, because there are definitely characters that I want to hear more about!

Beautiful and haunting. Loved every twist. Intriguing idea, spent most of a day reading, completely sucked in.

The Faith

The Faith: What Christians Believe, Why They Believe It, and Why It Matters
By Charles Colson and Harold Fickett

He has some good points, about for example Christianity relying on logic and about it not being a forced religion. I think we're living in an on-the-fence time, when the world is changing but we can make a difference in how it ends up.

Cheer!

Cheer!
By Kate Torgovnick

Awesome! Lots of people to keep track of, but worth it. Lots of technical terms but easily understood through her writing. And yes, I do wonder what LCLM means!

Will You Marry Me?

Will You Marry Me?: Seven Centuries of Love
By Helene Schev-Riesz
1416540091 112p

Eh, okay. I was expecting more in depth- like maybe the responses. Not necessarily letters, but even a short paragraph on how that particular piece of history ended.
