Disclaimer: I have a pencil that is urging me to re-elect Martin Fitzgerald... I wonder who that is... and where I got that pencil.. *shrug*

Summary: Yeah, right. You do know the concept of "snatches" by now, right?

Did you know I create rules for these things? In the following 5 snatches: A couch must be involved (preferably the one in CJ's office); no outside interruptions to stop the action. Oh, and there's something strange about #1 and #5, can you figure it out?

Oh yeah, vote for your favorite if you feel like it.

She stifled the scream that threatened when she saw a body passed out on her couch. She stared for a moment, then quietly walked back out the door.

Carol felt her gaze and looked up. Her eyes grew wide as she remembered what she was supposed to tell her boss. A sheepish expression appeared on her face.

That was all CJ needed to know. She nodded and quietly closed the door. She leaned against it for a moment and stared again before a wicked grin settled on her face.

She crept to the couch and knelt down. She brushed a curl back from his face before bending her head lower.

He shifted slightly when she blew gently in his ear, so she did it again. His hand moved lazily to brush her away and she caught it. She entwined their fingers to keep his hand out of the way.

Running her fingers over his lips only caused him to shift again and murmur incoherently. She scowled, then replaced her fingers with her lips.

He awoke suddenly, his eyes meeting hers in shock. She smiled wickedly and straightened up, her mischief done.

He stood quickly and, using their tangled hands, pulled her back to him. His expression told her she wouldn't get away that easily as his free hand snaked up to pull her head closer.

She moaned as he plundered her mouth, leaving her breathless. Her hand on his cheek, she slowly softened the kisses until she gently pushed his face away from hers.

Their eyes met and held. Danny leaned closer to kiss her again, but she held a hand between their lips and shook her head. She untangled herself from him and pushed him down onto the couch. Walking to her closet, she grabbed a blanket and threw it at him. She slipped out the door, murmuring "Sweet dreams."

Carol glanced at her questioningly as she left the office, but CJ just smiled at her and kept walking.

She was jolted awake as her door slammed shut. She struggled to see who was invading her office. She moaned in frustration and the intruder stopped pacing to come over to her.

His anger vanished as he took in the exhaustion in her eyes. He sat on the edge of the couch and stroked her hair.

"Shhh. Go back to sleep. I'm sorry."

"Danny?" she whispered and he smiled gently in response. She blinked rapidly, sleep threatening to overtake her again. She reached up to touch his cheek and he pressed his hand over hers.

Their eyes met and held. Both stopped breathing as they inched closer. Their lips met, gently at first.

CJ slid her hand down his neck to his tie. She fingered it for a moment before making her decision.

He felt himself falling onto her, urged on by the pressure on his neck. His tongue teased her lips and she let him in with a small gasp.

She tangled her hands in his hair, firmly shutting off the logic center of her brain.

Lifting himself up, he began to fiddle with the buttons on her shirt.

"No," she whispered.

He sat up quickly. "I'm sorry, I didn't-"

She sighed and pulled him back down. After one last deep kiss, she sat up with him. "Did you want something?"

He grinned and began to drop small kisses on the side of her neck.

"Besides that." She couldn’t stop the shiver that accompanied her mock severe tone.

He gently kissed her cheek. "Go back to sleep."

She nodded and laid back down without a word. He left, but didn't go far. He spent the next half-hour guarding her door, so she could finish her nap.

She waved him in as she chatted on the phone. He closed the door and sat down as she nodded to the caller who couldn't see her.

He looked around her office, something he didn't get to do often. He was focused on Gail when she got off the phone.

She had to wave a hand in front of his face to get his attention. He caught her hand and stared at it for a moment. She tugged gently, but he didn't let go. With a sigh, she sat down next to him.

He ran his finger gently up and down the middle of her palm before replacing it with his lips. He glanced up to find her staring at him, wide-eyed.

She leaned closer and their lips met, tentatively at first. Their fingers tangled and untangled as their kisses deepened.

She pulled away first and stared at him, in shock at the emotions he aroused in her so easily. She stood up and walked over to her desk, her head bowed.

He stared at her, standing just where she had been when they had kissed for the first time.

Quietly, he slipped over to her and touched her shoulders. She turned and buried her head in his neck.

He stroked her hair and she made a small noise. Suddenly, he realized she was giggling.

"Back here again," she whispered before kissing his neck, his face, his lips. He held her in place and gave her a gentle kiss before she took a step back.

He smiled sadly as he turned to go.

She moved behind her desk and whispered to her window, "Welcome back."

He whirled around and grinned at her back before slipping out the door.

CJ stared at the papers scattered on the table in her office. Finally she sighed and closed her eyes, leaning back on the soft cushions of her couch.

That's how Danny found her, moments later, when he wandered into her office.

"Just a second, Carol. I just need... there's some connection that I'm missing. I have to think-"

She broke off as he ran his thumb down her cheek.

"That better not be Carol," she whispered before opening her eyes with a small smile. Her eyes met his and her smile widened. "I was hoping it was you."

He bent down and kissed her cheek lightly. She shifted as he placed small kisses along her cheek. Grabbing his tie, she gently urged him down next to her on the couch.

Keeping them light, he covered her face with kisses, then her mouth. She leaned into him, enjoying the moment. Her fingers tangled through his hair as she smiled against his lips.

He moved to kiss her neck lightly before pulling away. "I'll let you get back to work"

She grabbed his neck and pulled him back, using her tongue to deepen the kiss. Finally, she let him go. "Okay."

He ran his fingers through her hair and kissed her cheek. "See ya."

She smiled up at him as he stood, his tie slowly sliding out of her hands as her fingers traced a path down his chest. "Bye."

He laughed and kissed the top of her head before quickly leaving. "Siren," he muttered as he walked out the door and was rewarded when her laugh followed him out.

He floated on a comfortable cloud, his body glad to finally be sleeping. A slight breeze brushed his ear and he shifted away from it.

It came again and he frowned. Maybe it was a bug, his brain lazily decided. He tried to brush it away, but his hand met resistance.

Soft, warm resistance. It covered his hand, surrounded it. It felt right, comfortable, and he smiled in his sleep.

His lips tinged, he guessed from the smile that seemed to rarely touch his lips anymore. His brain had decided it was the muscles flexing around his mouth when suddenly it changed and he realized what it was.

Lips. On his. And he knew exactly whose they were.

His eyes flew open to stare at her, just a few inches away. The self-satisfied grin on her face jolted him out of his stupor and he grinned in response.

His hand, he noticed, was still fused with hers. That part of his dream now made sense. He pulled her back towards him as he stood. He felt her shiver as his tongue slipped past her lips.

And then she was pulling away. Her fingers ran through his beard as she kept his head in place.

He stared into her eyes and leaned towards her, but she touched her fingers to his lips again and he understood that she had done that before, just moments earlier while he was dreaming.

She pushed him gently and he eased himself back onto the couch to watch her cross the room. He caught the blanket that she threw at him, a small smile on his face.

"Sweet dreams," she whispered as she left the room.

He laid back down, grateful for the permission to sleep on her couch, knowing he would be dreaming of her when he did manage to sleep.
