"Do you know what today it?" The door closed.

She looked up to see Danny had snuck inside her office. "Sunday."

He shook his head at her. "Going for the obvious answer there, CJ. Today is a national holiday."

Her brow furrowed as she rifled through her memories.

"You don't know?" Danny's eyes grew wide and he placed a hand over his heart. "I can't believe it."

"Of course I know what day it is. I just don't remember at the moment."

He walked closer, moving to her side of the desk. He leaned down. "I'll whisper it to you."

"Danny." She warned him and leaned away.

He grinned at her. "What's the matter? Nervous having me this close?"

"Of course not," CJ told him, willing her heart to stop racing. She met his eyes. "Well?"

"Today is Hug a Newsman Day." He whispered.

Her eyes widened as she met his tone. "Really? How interesting."

"You know, you are a member of the government. You should set an example and observe these important holidays."

She blinked slowly as she thought it through. There were other things she needed to be doing. And there were other things she'd rather be doing with Danny than hugging him. She stood slowly as he backed off a few inches. "Then you'll let me get back to work?"

"I never said that." Danny grinned at her.

"Then no hug." She crossed her arms in front of her.

"Okay, okay." He relented, stifling another smile. "I want a hug."

She sighed at him, then held out her arms for a small hug.

His face lit up as he moved close and wrapped his arms around her. He pulled their whole bodies into contact and whispered in her ear, "See, that's not so bad." She supressed a shiver at the unexpected voice so close to her, but he noticed and rubbed her back. "Cold?" he teased.

She pulled away but he kept his arms around her. "Danny?"

"Tomorrow is Kiss a Newsman Day."

CJ smiled before she could stop herself.

"And I won't be around tomorrow. So..." He kept one arm firmly around her waist while the other crept to her neck to pull her close. She closed her eyes in anticipation and he smiled. His lips met hers tentatively and she melted at the slight touch. Her hand came up to touch his cheek and she deepened the kiss. His hand tangled in her hair as he imprinted the moment on his mind.

She pulled away again.

He caught his breath, then smiled at her. "Today is also Tell a Lie Day."

She smirked. "Which was the lie?"

He grinned and kissed her again, lightly this time. "Why don't I let you find out?"

He let her go and, with a smile and wave, left her to do her work.

As soon as she found a site with a list of holidays, CJ told herself, she'd get back to work.
